Our research focuses on new and existing pieces of evidence, knowledge, and experience based on the gains from our work in the community to bring a unique perspective to Minnesota policy discussions.

Ghands, Inc holds policy discussions touching all areas of academia by holding seminars whereby distinguished professionals in different fields of their specialization and subject matter experts present in topics of their area of expertise.

With the emergent of the Covid-19 epidemic, Ghands Inc engages the community in passing relevant information from the State, Federal, other stakeholders, and interested parties to make sure that the target population receives the resources, information, and other services such as translation and interpretations where needed for those who English is the second language. In the advent of the Covid-19 epidemic, Ghands Inc holds its seminars, discussions, and presentations through zoom, Facebook life, and podcast. Consistent with its mission to improve opportunities and open doors for African immigrants, the Ghands, Inc believes that advocacy, Civic Engagement, and Community-based support are essential parts of any Community. 

Thus, the organization concentrates on advocacy activities at state and local levels through its initiatives. 

 Ghands Inc prepares the next generation to take its place in community service and policy development arenas.

Ghands Inc's primary goal is to increase the pool of black leaders in Community-based programs and public service careers.

Ghands Inc offers numerous educational and leadership development programs for individuals from all walks of life.

Participants are provided with opportunities to learn the inner workings at the Ghands Inc, explore public service and public policy careers, discuss current events and policy initiatives, and see close-up leadership at its very best by working with and learning from Ghands, Inc members.
